Johnson, Bell, and Gallagher Named 2020 USDF Youth Sport Horse Ambassadors
Lexington, KY (March 27, 2020) –
The United States Dressage Federation™ (USDF) is pleased to announce that Shea
Johnson (New Mexico), Erin Bell (Texas), and Caitlin Gallagher (Pennsylvania)
have been selected as USDF's 2020 Youth Sport Horse Ambassadors. USDF Youth
Sport Horse Ambassadors must be between the ages of 18-30 and have attended
multiple events within USDF's Sport Horse Education offerings.
As ambassadors, Shea, Erin, and
Caitlin will each have the opportunity to be mentored by program instructors at
a USDF Sport Horse Education Program and will assist in increasing visibility
of USDF Sport Horse Education Programs, through social media and other
platforms. This experience will assist them in the development of their own
careers within the sport horse industry, as well as allowing them to expose
other to the wealth of sport horse education offerings available through USDF.
USDF Sport Horse Committee
Co-Chairs Kristi Wysocki and Natalie DiBerardinis had this to say regarding
this opportunity for young professionals, “We are excited that Caitlin
Gallegher and Erin Bell will be returning for their third year as
USDF Youth Ambassadors. These young women have been actively sharing the USDF
Sport Horse Committee's educational and competition opportunities with youth
throughout the United States for the last three years. We also welcome
Shea Johnson to join Caitlin and Erin for Shea's first year as an
ambassador. We are looking forward to working with all three of these
dedicated young women.”
